La Sallanche

The eponymous river that crosses the town from west to east. Its source is at 2,000m altitude in the Combe des Fours and it descends to Lévaud to join the Torrent de la Frasse, thus forming La Sallanche, which is 10.1 km long.
The river then joins the Arve.
