Grotte mariale de MéribelA small grotto in the hamlet of Méribel in Sallanches, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, in homage to Our Lady of Lourdes. Likely built after one of the two World Wars, to thank the Virgin for her protection over the village of Saint-Martin.
Chapelle de BlanchevilleBuilt in 1656, this chapel is dedicated to St Laurent.
With a modest appearance, one single window and a small entrance door, it is the smallest chapel in the town.
Place St JacquesThis is the oldest square in the town. In an unusual triangular shape, it was redeveloped in 1866 on the approximate location of the medieval market square.

Refuge de MayèresTraditionnal and quality cooking. Situated in Sallanches, the "Refuge de Mayères", nearby the Aravis chain, has a unique sight on the Mont-Blanc chain, with one the the last landing zone of Haute-Savoie.
Château BrechesThis castle was built in 1561 and initially called "Tour de Fer" (Iron Tower). It was a vast square building with a round tower that dominates Place de la Grenette.
It housed various noble Sallanches families.
It is a private property and cannot be visited.
Chapelle des HouchesThe first construction of this chapel took place in 1637 on the spot where there is a cross today; it was then rebuilt from 1832 to 1833 by local inhabitants.
It is dedicated to St Roch.
It is the largest chapel in the town.
Le Torrent de CœurA pretty little mountain stream, with a natural basin, which descends as a waterfall to the Pont de la Flée, where it joins the Torrent des Fours to form the Gorges de Lévaud and ends up in the Sallanche.
