In the heart of the Aravis mountains, overlooking Mont Blanc this beautiful trail links the Mayères pasture and refuge with that of Doran. Some elevated parts, but with cables installed.
Chapelle de La ProvenceThis chapel, located in the heart of the village, was built between 1764 and 1766. It was financed by a villager who wanted to dedicate the chapel to a saint who was popular in Germany and Austria: St John of Nepomuk.
La Tête du ColonneyVery beautiful panoramic summit at 2692 m altitude in the Fiz mountain range. It dominates the Désert de Platé and faces Mont Blanc. Access is via the Alpage de Véran and the Cheminée du Monthieu.
Its appearance is reminiscent of the roof of a Tibetan pagoda.
L'ArveThe Arve River springs from the Col de Balme in the Mont-Blanc range. It crosses the hamlet of St Martin then follows several valleys before rushing into the Rhône. The Sallanche River is a tributary of the Arve.
