In addition to a visit to the château's exhibitions, the children's group works with a mediator to create a scented floral water using a still.
The castle's alchemist, a cousin of Merlin and Getafix, invites you around his still to create a 100% natural scented floral water!
The workshop takes place in 4 stages:
- The mediator presents the still, how it works and the principle of distillation.
- The group learns about the history of plant distillation, from the Egyptians to the Arab world and ancient Greece...
- Samples of hydrosols are presented to the students for an olfactory test.
- The whole group performs a distillation of plants to create a perfumed floral water.

- Discover an ancestral method of perfume production
